AGREEMENT TO OUR LEGAL TERMS

We are Pawz On Board (‘Company’, ‘we’, ‘us’, or ‘our’), a company registered in the United Kingdom at 10 Wye Close, Tranmere, Merseyside, CH42 3YR. Our VAT number is GB483613087.

These terms and conditions constitute a legally binding agreement made between you, whether personally or on behalf of an entity (‘you’), and Pawz On Board, concerning your access to and use the services. You agree that by accessing the Services, you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by all these Legal Terms. IF YOU DO NOT AGREE WITH ALL THESE LEGAL TERMS, THEN YOU ARE EXPRESSLY PROHIBITED FROM USING THE SERVICES AND YOU MUST DISCONTINUE USE IMMEDIATLEY.

1. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY RIGHTS

Our intellectual property

We are the owner or the licensee of all intellectual property rights in our Services, including all source code, databases, functionality, software, website designs, audio, video, text, photographs, and graphics in the Services (collectively, the ‘Content’), as well as the trademarks, service marks and logos contained therein (the ‘Marks’).

Our Content and Marks are protected by copyright and trademark laws (and various other intellectual property rights and unfair competition laws) and treaties around the world.

The Content and Marks are provided in or through the Services ‘AS IS’ for your personal, non-commercial use or internal business purpose only.

2. BOOKINGS

You must allow sufficient time when booking your service to allow for any appointment times, check-in times required by your appointment provider or Airline and for any delays caused by traffic conditions. Pawz On Board shall not be responsible for any delay caused by your failure to allow enough time to reach your destination or if the passenger is not ready for collection at the booked time.

Pawz On Board will email or SMS you a quotation based on the information supplied by you. All prices are inclusive of VAT. Pawz On board may amend the quotation if there is any change to the original itinerary.

If you accept the quotation, you will receive confirmation of your booking by email or SMS. Please check your booking confirmation carefully and inform Pawz On Board promptly of any errors. Pawz On Board shall not be responsible for any delays caused or costs arising from by your failure to provide Pawz On Board with correct information.

Please note that Pawz On Board is a pet transport service, NOT a minicab or licensed taxi service. Prices are paid solely for transportation of pets & where required one additional passenger.

3. USER REPRESENTATIONS

By using the Services, you represent and warrant that: (1) all registration information you submit will be true, accurate, current, and complete (2) you will maintain the accuracy of such information and promptly update such registration information as necessary; (3) you have the legal capacity and you agree to comply with these Legal Terms; (4) you are not a minor in the jurisdiction in which you reside; (5) you will not access the Services through automated or non-human means, whether through a bot, script or otherwise; (6) you will not use the Services for any illegal or unauthorised purpose; and (7) your use of the Services will not violate any applicable law or regulation.

If you provide any information that is untrue, inaccurate, not current, or incomplete, we have the right to suspend or terminate your account and refuse any and all current or future use of the Services (or any portion thereof).

4. USER REGISTRATION

When registering to use the services in the future. You agree to keep your password confidential and will be responsible for all use of your account and password. We reserve the right to remove, reclaim, or change a username you select if we determine, in our sole discretion, that such username is inappropriate, obscene, or other objectionable.

5. PURCHASES AND PAYMENT

We accept the following forms of payment:

  • Visa

  • Mastercard

  • No cash is accepted as part of any transaction, as the driver does not carry money on his person.

You agree to provide current, complete, and accurate purchase and account information for all purchases made via the services. You further agree to promptly update account and payment information, including email address, payment method, and payment card expiration date, so that we can complete your transactions and contact you as needed. Sales tax is inclusive of all prices published. We may change prices at any time. We reserve the right to refuse any order placed through the services.

  • Mon – Sun, 7PM – 7AM (£40.00)

6. CANCELLATIONS

If you need to cancel your reservation, please contact Pawz On Board as soon as possible. In the event of a cancellation the following refunds to the customer will apply:

  • 24 hours prior to pickup time: 50% of total

  • Within 24 hours of pickup time: 0% of total

7. THE SERVICE

Please provide Pawz On Board with as much information about your pet as possible including any behavioural problems.

Pawz On Board cannot carry animals with serious medical conditions or infectious diseases.

Pawz On Board cannot contravene parking, waiting or other traffic regulations or leave the van unattended – in certain situations receiving party may be required to collect the pet from the van.

Please advise Pawz On Board of any previous aggression your pet has shown towards people or other pets or of any veterinary or behaviour change in your pet that may affect their interaction with people or other pets.

Please ensure that your pet is fully vaccinated and is up-to-date with flea and worming treatment where applicable.

In the case of an emergency you authorise Pawz On Board to seek veterinary care as appropriate. You agree to accept full responsibility for the cost of all veterinary care and to settle any fees directly with the veterinarian involved.

You shall be responsible for the behaviour of all the pets in the van during the journey.

8. LIMITATIONS OF LIABILITY

Pawz On Board shall use all reasonable endeavours to get to your destination on time, but shall not be liable for any loss due to delays caused by road or traffic conditions beyond its control on the journey. Under no circumstances shall Pawz On Board be liable (in contract, tort or otherwise) for any loss of profits, business or for any indirect or consequential loss whatever.

Pawz On Board shall be entitled to cancel all services and provide refunds in the event of a declared national emergency, riot, war, fuel shortage, extreme weather or terrorist attack, or other circumstances beyond its control. If the van breaks down during your journey Pawz On Board will endeavour to arrange an alternative vehicle to complete the journey as soon as practicable.

Neither party excludes or limits its liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for wilful default or fraudulent misrepresentation, or otherwise in any manner unenforceable by any applicable law.

Pawz On Board accepts no liability for pets which are abandoned with Pawz On Board due to non-acceptance of the pet at the delivery address for whatever reason or due to failure of your designated agent to complete collection of the pet. In the event of a pet being abandoned with Pawz On Board we will endeavour to contact you using all contact details provided. Abandoned pets will be handed over to the local authority pet warden at which point all further dealings regarding recovery of the pet must be with them and rests with you the customer.

Pawz On Board requires that all pets (excluding dogs) are placed securely inside a rigid container or carrier prior to collection. The owner shall be responsible for ensuring that all pet containers or carriers are 100% securely fastened. Pawz On Board will not be responsible for putting pets into containers or carriers or handling of pets at the collection or delivery address. Pawz On Board requires all owners to deliver the securely fastened container or carrier directly to the Pawz On Board at time of collection and to collect said container or carrier directly from the Pawz On Board at time of delivery. The owner shall be responsible for any defect or fault in operation of the container or carrier during the journey.

Pawz On Board will not accept containers or carriers that cannot be locked, such as non-rigid carriers. Where possible Pawz On Board can provide a suitable container for smaller animals for use during transportation.

All luggage is carried entirely at your risk.

9. TERMINATION

Pawz On Board will refuse or terminate any booking with immediate effect if it places any driver or vehicle at risk of damage or violence. No refunds will be given if the journey is terminated part way through the hire.

10. PRIVACY POLICY

We care about data privacy and security. By using the services, you agree to be bound by our Privacy Policy posted on the services, which is incorporated into these Legal Terms. Please be advised the Services are hosted in the United Kingdom. If you access the Services from any other region of the world with laws or other requirements governing personal data collection, use, or disclosure that differ from applicable laws in the United Kingdom, then through your continued use of the Services, you are transferring your data to the United Kingdom, and you expressly consent to have your data transferred to and processed in the United Kingdom.
